The Conservatory Coffee Shop at The Bramble Patch is perfect for anyone who’s travelled some distance and needs refreshment, or simply for meeting up with a quilting friend for a chat and a cuppa! It opened in September 2015 and is popular with both customers and students who can purchase freshly made light lunches and snacks without having to leave the shop.
The Coffee Shop serves Italian-style coffees, teas and other hot drinks, fresh salads (summer), home-made soup (winter), Bramble Baps with a choice of fillings, handmade cakes and cream teas. We have options suitable for vegetarians and gluten-free customers.
Our salads and sandwiches are made fresh on the premises, and our cakes come from a local specialist cake-maker. Our delicious vegetable soups is freshly made in small batches. Our 100% arabica coffee is Fair Trade, we source ingredients locally whenever possible, and we always look for cruelty-free ingredients including free-range eggs.
The Coffee Shop is open from 10:30 until 4:30 (last orders by 4:15) whenever the shop is open, and seats 18 people.
If you are coming with a group of 5 or more, please give us a ring on 01327 342212 to pre-book so we can reserve you a table. If you’re visiting for lunch, it would be helpful if you could download our menu and order your choices in advance so we can have lunch ready for you.
For pre-booked groups, we also offer special Afternoon Tea on Wednesdays. This includes a selection of finger sandwiches, cakes and scones, hot drinks and a complimentary glass of prosecco for £12.95 per person. Bookings must be made in advance, for a minimum of 5 and maximum of 15 people.
We’re very sorry, but we are unable to accommodate special dietary needs for afternoon tea.
