If you've ever struggled with quilting a large quilt on a domestic sewing machine, you may like to take advantage of The Bramble Patch professional quilting service.
We've been long-arm quilting since 2001, and the service proved so popular that we added a second machine in 2006, and the state-of-the-art computerised Intelliquilter in 2007.
Our highly experienced long-arm quilters quilt over 400 quilts a year on Bertha and Beryl, our two Gammill machines, and can help you choose appropriate designs and thread colours complement your work, turning your pieced or appliquéd tops into beautiful quilts.
The choice of quilting design ranges from edge-to-edge overall patterns right through to unique custom designs.
Of course, we stock a variety of waddings and a good selection of extra wide fabrics suitable for backing large quilts.
Basting Service
If you prefer to hand quilt, but find layering and basting tedious or difficult, our basting service takes all the hard work away and gives you a perfectly layered quilt with a grid of easily removable stitches.

Training
Our quilt room staff are all trained in-house, and new long-arm staff train for several months before being allowed to work on customer quilts – initially they work on practice pieces and then shop samples, and only graduate to customer quilts when we are confident their skills meet our quality standards.
