If you’re passionate about patchwork, why not let us fuel your creativity and help you make more beautiful quilts? Whether you're looking for top quality quilting supplies, unique patterns and bespoke kits not available elsewhere, classes to inspire or knowledgable advice, we're here to help.
We are patchwork and quilting specialists, providing beautiful fabrics and specialist supplies since 1987. We celebrate the unique, hand-made and home-made, and we help dedicated quilters fuel their creativity and find connection with others who are committed to their craft.
Located in the heart of England, in the pretty village of Weedon Bec on the Grand Union Canal in Northamptonshire, our large and well-stocked patchwork fabric, haberdashery and sewing supplies shop is a converted church which we have expanded and adapted as a centre for patchwork and quilting.
As well as 2000+ of bolts of quality fabrics, we stock specialist haberdashery, tools, books and more for quilters, along with our own unique kits and patterns. We are also agents for Bernina and Janome sewing machines.
We run classes, workshops and retreats in our large, airy classrooms and our Conservatory Coffee Shop has now re-opened but in line with government restrictions there are limited tables available to allow social distancing and it is self-service only offering tea/coffee and cake at this time. We also run a programme of weekly free demonstrations, exhibitions and other events throughout the year.
Even if you're too far away to visit in person, you can still join one of our online or postal clubs, like our Mystery Club, our Box of Delights or our annual Festival of Quilts Block-of-the-Month club. Or just browse our comprehensive online shop, which is kept up to date daily with the latest fabrics and other products.
With our two long-arm quilting machines, we also offer professional quilting, basting and finishing services for both local patchworkers and those living further afield.
Our team are as passionate about making as you are! Whether our interests lie in traditional sewing, designing patterns, advising beginners, suggesting fresh ideas, or exploring the boundaries of stitch, we hope you’ll always find us friendly, skilled and professional.
