Bramble Stitcher Julie has lovingly re-worked our extremely popular Irish Heirloom Quilt in the latest Liberty collection "Garden Party" using the stunning shades of vibrant blue, chartruese and cream.This traditional triple Irish chain quilt design was originally inspired by an antique quilt from Northern Ireland that we showcased in an exhibition in 2018. It also includes applique motifs of hearts and birds  - a truly joyful quilt to lift the spirits and become your own 'heirloom' to be treasured now and in the future. So why not join us on a 6 MONTH journey to create this gorgeous quilt. 

As always, we can assure you that the planned pattern distribution each month won't be overwhelming and is a manageable amount of sewing each month and we will provide you with sufficient fabric, comprehensive instructions and are always available to assist you with any queries.

This 'BOM' is a 6 month project. Fabric packs will be sent out to you each month (commencing MAY).

The finished quilt size will measure 78" square approx.

Irish Heirloom quilt is a 6-month stitch-a-long and includes the following (sent out throughout the 6 months):

• 6m of Liberty Garden Party feature fabric (sent as various cuts)
• 1.4m of cream Liberty Wiltshire Shadow background fabric
• 40cm of Liberty Garden Party feature fabric for inner border
• 80cm of Liberty Garden Party feature fabric for outer border
• 55cm of Liberty Wiltshire Shadow fabric for binding
• 1.25m of Bondaweb for applique

You will also need:

• Backing fabric approx. 86" square (approx.2.2m of an extra wide fabric or 6.4m of a standard width fabric - cut in half and re-join selvage to selvage)* 
• Wadding approx. 86" square*

*if you are using a longarm quilting service you may need more wadding & backing - please ask your longarm quilting service for advise.

You will pay an initial payment of £45.00 to secure your subscription then £35.00 per month over a 6-month period (starting on the 28th April). There will be a total of 7 payments made (1 x initial payment plus 6 payments on 28th of each month) and you will receive 6 fabric parcels via the post, commencing 1st May.

Important details you need to know

• Once you subscribe, an initial payment of £45.00 must be paid to secure your subscription at the start of the project.  This can be paid either by card over the phone or with your consent using you subscription card details. Please note that if we haven't received the payment by SATURDAY 27TH APRIL 2024 an automatic payment will be taken from the debit / credit card details used for the subscription.
• Your remaining 6 x monthly payments will commence on the 28th April 2024 with the final payment taken on 28th September 2024.
• Fabric, instructions and patterns will be sent to you AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH MONTH.
