What's in the box...
Glad Tidings by Jo Morton : 1 x charm pack
Ah, September! That time of year when customers start saying to us "I really must get on with my Christmas sewing projects". But the weather's still fine and you don't really feel like going all-out Christmas bling.... Not to worry, we have the answer. jo Morton's gorgeous new collection Glad Tidings takes antique fabric patterns and recolours them in an old-fashioned Christmas palette of soft reds, earthy greens, gold and warm brown. It's just the thing to take you gently from autumn into the festive season.
Makower Linen Texture (olive) : 50cm
Linen texture is another really useful basics range; these cotton prints mimic the look of woven linen without any of the handling or washing issues - perfect for adding subtle texture to backgrounds or contrast fabrics. We love them!
Rustic Wooden Button : 1 button
Our pattern this month's calls for a large feature button, so naturally, we're including one.
Armchair Tidy and Cushion pattern
Here's a project that makes the most of these Glad Tidings fabrics - our Armchair Tidy and Cushion pattern. The collection's colour palette means you can keep these on display from autumn through Christmas and into the new year, and the traditional charm square design shows off those gorgeous reproduction prints so well. Give your favourite armchair a makeover for the season with this pretty cushion and handy pocketed tidy for the armrest.
Tulip pincushion from Hemline
Pincushions can be slippery little things, always getting knocked off your machine work surface or side table, and not everyone gets on with the sort you can wear! So the suction cup in this little tulip pincushion is pretty clever - just stick it to the table so it stays put - genius!
