Lucy Boston's Kaleidoscope Quilt Kit

This kit is based on one of her favourite coverlets, Kaleidoscope, which she made in the winter of 1973-4, at the age of 81.

Your kit includes a curated selection of fabrics chosen to evoke the spirit of the original, along with instructions for EPP, and a supply of pre-cut papers to make this fascinating design, which give the illusion of curves despite only using straight seams. Lucy herself said:

???I am deep in Kaleidoscope and can think of nothing else??_ I am up early (5 am) and sit up late in feverish excitement.?۝

and later:

???I have finished my Kaleidoscope patchwork as you suggested, and it looks the best yet.?۝

We've used gorgeous floral prints from Liberty London's new specialist quilting cotton collections, so your kit contains:

• enough fabric to make 4 complete blocks, including -??
  • 28 fat quarters of Liberty ???English Garden?۝ quilting fabric
  • 13 fat quarters of co-ordinating Moda ???Grunge?۝ fabrics
• 520 pre-cut triangle and square paper templates, enough to make approximately 2 complete blocks*??
