The ‘Storm at Sea’ patchwork design has always fascinated – how can a design with blocks of straight pieces create such a beautiful ‘wavy’ pattern? So, this mini quilt celebrates the amazing design and gives the perfect opportunity to stitch your own ‘Storm at Sea’ quilt in ideal sized blocks.

The original sample was created using a Janet Clare collection ‘More Hearty Good Wishes’ as the designers gorgeous colour palette perfectly symbolizes the sea. In your kit we have included a charm pack for Janet’s latest collection ‘LONGSHORE’. It is an extremely popular collection as once again her signatures shades of blue mixed with the rich cream are presented in delightful nautical prints.

We have provided you with the templates printed on card – the card is suitable for using as paper piecing templates and therefore you will simply need to cut the sheets up to recreate the quilt. The sheets provided contain all the shapes/block layouts you need for the entire quilt.
