The 1890's brought a great deal of changes - the increased popularity of the sewing machine, introduction of paper patterns and aniline dyes instead of vegetable dye lead to bold colors and patterns in fabric. The bold floral, colorful geometrics and dramatic stripe of this collection are true to Sara Morgan's document piece.
